Sometimes the honest answer isn't "automate a step," it's "you need a small internal tool that doesn't exist yet" — a job board, an approvals queue, a simple database with a real interface instead of a spreadsheet fifteen people edit at once. We build those directly, scoped tightly to the actual job, not a generic platform you have to bend your process to fit.
Built to be owned
Typically Next.js and Supabase, or whatever stack makes sense for the size of the problem. It lives in your accounts, and on final payment it's yours outright — including the right to hand it to another developer later if you ever want to.
